HomeTerms and Conditions

Application

The individual accepting these booking conditions does so as the representative for all individuals listed in their booking, thereby binding all parties to these conditions. By accepting these terms, they acknowledge acceptance on behalf of themselves and all others named in the booking, affirming their authorization to accept these conditions on their behalf.

All travel arrangements and activities outlined in our communications and tour itineraries will be referred as "tours" or "travel arrangements." All bookings are made with Lets Go New Zealand Limited, henceforth referred to as the "company," "we," or "us." Any alterations to these conditions require written approval by a director of the company and may not be modified otherwise.

These booking conditions constitute your entire agreement with us. You agree that this agreement does not transfer any rights or legal recourse to a third party, except you as a participant.

Tour Costs

All tour costs and pricing displayed on the website (www.letsgo.co.nz) are in New Zealand Dollars and include a 15% GST. Lets Go New Zealand reserves the right to revise the prices on the website without prior notice, attributable to factors such as currency fluctuations or alterations in contracted rates with our suppliers. Typically, the prices indicated on this website serve as approximate guide only.

Prices quoted by us are based on costs applicable at the time of quoting and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed by us.

Tour inclusions in our quote are limited to those items specifically mentioned in our quote to you. Items not specified in your quote do not form part of the services for which we have quoted.

If you have any special requests or medical needs, please inform us at the time of booking. If these requirements are not known at the time of booking, please notify us before your departure. While we will communicate your needs to the relevant suppliers, we cannot ensure that all requests will be accommodated. Additionally, we bear no responsibility to you if these requests cannot be fulfilled.

Payment Terms

Deposit payment

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your land arrangements and the full amount for any flights is mandatory at the time of booking. Some suppliers may require additional booking fees and/or full payment upfront, which will be communicated if applicable to your booking. Upon confirmation of all tour components, we will issue you with a final invoice. Failure to settle all required deposits, booking fees, or other specified amounts by the designated due date may lead to the cancellation of the relevant booking(s). You will be responsible for any applicable cancellation fees.

Balance/Final payment

The balance for your tour arrangements is required to be settled 10 weeks before your departure date. Failure to pay all amounts specified in the invoice by the due date may lead to the cancellation of the relevant booking(s). We will provide written notification regarding the deadline for your final payment and will not cancel your tour arrangements without prior communication regarding overdue balances.

If you make a booking less than 10 weeks before your departure date, full payment for your travel arrangements will be required at the time of booking.

If you make your reservation through a travel agent, we will direct all communication to the agent, and they will be subject to the same conditions as if you had booked directly with us. All payments from you must be made through your agent, and any payment made by you to your travel agent will not be considered received by us or applied to your booking until it is actually received by us from your agent.

Amendments, Cancellations and Refunds

Amendments to your tour
Following confirmation of your tour and during your trip, should you wish to make amendments to your tour booking, we will make every effort to accommodate these, but cannot always guarantee that the change is possible. All amendments requested will be subject to any amendment, cancellation or other charges applied by suppliers, plus a NZ$250 fee to cover our administrative costs. All amendment requests must be made in writing.

Cancellations by Lets Go New Zealand or Suppliers

In the rare circumstance where either we or one of our suppliers are unable to deliver any part of the services you have booked, we will strive to arrange comparable alternative options for you at no extra cost. Should we fail to secure a satisfactory alternative, we will reimburse you the expenses incurred for those services.

Force majeure shall pertain to exceptional and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our or our suppliers' reasonable control, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorism, natural calamities, pandemics, and adverse weather conditions. In the event of such occurrences, any refunds provided shall be subject to deduction for costs unrecoverable by us.

We shall not be held liable for any incidental expenses incurred due to cancellations, including but not limited to insurance deductibles or non-refundable flights or flight amendment fees.

Tour Itineraries and Activities

Many of the tours and activities we offer require flexibility to accommodate alternatives due to weather or other conditions. The provided itinerary for each tour should be considered as an indication of what the trip may entail, rather than a contractual obligation. The final decision regarding the itinerary and operation of any tour will be made by the tour operator in the best interests of the entire group. It is understood that route schedules, itineraries, amenities, and modes of transport may be subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, including sickness or medical issues, flight cancellations, strikes, weather conditions, and other unforeseeable circumstances.

When we act solely as an agent, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any failure, delay, or omission on the part of any third-party supplier in providing products or services to you, provided the booking has been duly processed by us.

We and our suppliers reserve the right to withdraw services and remove from any tour or activity any individual posing risks to themselves or the environment, or negatively affecting other’s enjoyment. In such an event, you agree that you will not be entitled to any refund and will be fully responsible for your travel arrangements following expulsion.

Passport and Visa

It is the responsibility of the traveller to ensure that all required travel documents, including passports, visas and any other necessary permits and vaccinations are valid and obtained prior to travel. Lets Go New Zealand Limited shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, expenses or losses incurred due to the travellers failure to obtain the necessary travel documents. Travellers are advised to check the visa requirements and regulations for New Zealand well in advance of their travel dates. Failure to comply with the passport and visa requirements may result in denied boarding or entry into New Zealand, for which Lets Go New Zealand shall not be held responsible.

Travel Insurance

Lets Go New Zealand strongly recommends that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance in respect of all Products, before beginning your journey. Lets Go New Zealand will assume no liability for any damage, liability, loss, cost, claim or expense suffered or incurred by you (or any other person) due to failure to obtain or maintain sufficient insurance coverage. Specifically, cancellation or amendment charges for tour components will not be waived under any circumstances if travel insurance would have provided coverage.

Baggage

You are solely responsible for your baggage and personal belongings at all times. Any excess charges incurred are the responsibility of the passenger.

Experience, Certification, Licenses

Certain activities, such as scuba diving or white water rafting, may necessitate a minimum level of experience and ability for participation, and we rely on your honesty in assessing and advising us of your fitness and abilities. When applicable, we will provide you with these requirements in good faith. You bear full responsibility for ensuring you possess the required experience, ability, licenses and certifications necessary to engage in these activities and agree to carry documents, where required, attesting to this. Additionally, you agree not to hold us accountable for refusal to accommodate you, whether by us, our agents or our suppliers, due to your lack of documentary evidence or insufficient experience, ability, licenses or certifications.

You further agree to compensate us or our suppliers for any equipment lost or damaged while in your possession, provided that the loss is entirely attributable to your actions.

Medical Declaration

By accepting these booking conditions, you confirm that you are in good health for the activities you are engaging in and have disclosed any relevant medical history regarding heart or lung disorders, asthma or epilepsy, as well as insulin or drug dependency. You also commit to not participate in activities if you feel unwell or are aware of medical conditions that may be impacted by your participation.

If you have special requests or medical requirements please let us know at the time you book or if not known at time of booking then prior to your departure. We will advise the relevant suppliers of your requirements but we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met. Furthermore, we have no liability to you if such requests are not met.
